Artist's Description
I headed over to one of my favorite parks to capture some of beautiful fall foliage. I started on the lake side of the park, capturing the statue of Selene, which sits in Kettle Pond. Selene is the goddess of the moon; this statue is the work of Italian sculptor Maria Gamundi, and was commissioned by the Newport News Public Art Foundation.

Photography hobbyist from Smithfield, VA. By profession, I am a budget analyst. I try to stay well rounded (and sane) with my hobbies. I love to play tennis, and I love photography. After a long day of work, these are my go-to outlets for physical and mental health. My photography passions include macro photography, which probably makes sense, since my career is all about looking at the finer details.
